September --
One of the Best Months to Mail

The kids are going back to school. Summer's winding down. Vacations are over. Everyone's re-charged and ready for a new season. September signifies a "get serious" time for business. Businesspeople are at a crossroads. They now have only four months to get their acts in order and somehow manage to end the year on a positive note. Which means it's a great time to mail. If your offer is geared towards benefits of better productivity and more sales potential, you'll get a good reception. You can even start your sales letter with "the year is almost over ... our product/service will get you more business faster, and you'll have more money than you can dream of." Your prospects are looking for ways to become more productive. Show them how to be more productive and you'll make a sale. Your prospects are looking for products that will move quickly off their retail shelves. Explain how fast the merchandise will turn over and you'll make a sale. Your prospects want more time to get their daily chores done. Show them how you'll help them become more productive and you'll make a sale. September is a transition month; there are only four more months left to end up with a decent year. Sell yourself on how you'll make your prospects look good in general and you'll make a sale.
